They are too billboardy. The WC unis are cool but club unis are basically team sports version of nascar decals. SKC's uni has Ivory Funds like 40 times bigger than the team name. You're going to hate NFL jerseys in less than 7 years Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkNBA will give in first, MLB will hold out longest. it won't ever happen in sports with tv breaks. nike wouldn't allow it either.Nike (or whichever company makes the uniform) will just make their logo larger. I have no doubt uniforms will have other logos soon. I actually expect some team to be named for a company in the next 10 years.Look, America does sports better. Soccer is not some advanced form of sport, if anything it lags behind American sports. Logos on unis is an example of this. It's more likely that those dipshits will take the disgusting logos off of the unis than Americans adding them.Sorry but you're wrong, comically so. The NBA will have logos in 5 years or less. They started it in the WNBA as an experiment and is working, the owners will want the additional revenue. The WNBA experiment was to see how jersey sales will be effected and data has showed that the ads have not had an adverse effect on jersey sales. The NFL has already allowed them on practice uniforms and has for a couple of seasons. There are multiple American sports franchise owners who also own European soccer teams. They see how much money these uniform sponsorships net them and they aren't going to let that revenue sit for too much longer because of a few jingoistic dinosaurs who think that making money is beneath them because soccer does it.

the same game that had a higher rating than the final game of the NBA finals?
Quote from: Tobias on June 17, 2014, 02:59:34 PMthe same game that had a higher rating than the final game of the NBA finals?Yes and beat the Royals yesterday too. WC in KC was like 15.4 or something and Royals were like 11.2. Both were well viewed for weeknight cable sports events. I'm surprised you guys are surprised. BITB didn't get to his position in life by reasonably analyzing play on the field and making calm, rational predictions.

There were also a significant number of establishments in the KC area that were packed yesterday with folks watching the game, from what I've heard. Didn't hear about any packed watch parties for channel 41's 5 o'clock newscast, but maybe that's just because I run with a younger crowd.
