I think England winning and still not making the next round would be my ideal. England's failures are much more fun when they contain a glimmer of hope.

I like Ivory Coast a lot, but I can't root for them over our Western Hem bros Colombia. Also pulling for Uruguay and Japan.

I think everyone kind of has a soft spot for the Ivory Coast.

I haven't met one person that hasn't rooted for them in either of their matches.

agreed, panj.

pretty much everyone is pretty likable/not villains today (uruguay gets a slight ding to their credit rating for luis suarez, and most people are kinda "meh" on greece). kinda fun to just let it play out and not be too invested in good vs evil

guys is it just me or aside from the USA game have all the weeknight 5 pm games sucked? i mean total snoozefest of teams.

the games have actually been way better than you'd expect based on the teams, imo
