According also wikipedia, our guy Salomon Kalou was born and raised in the IC, but tried to become a naturalized citizen of The Netherlands in 2006 to play on their national team, but failed and played for the IC. So when stuff like that happens, are the fans of a team like the IC upset because he tried to bail on his team for a better one? Or are they relieved because a good player is staying with his home country? Or is it mixed emotions and stuff because that kinda thing is pretty common now a days?

can't speak for kalou's case but crowds booed the absolute crap out of diego costa (born in Brazil, plays for Spain) whenever he got near the ball for both of their games

They actually used to give out tiny little caps (like the size of a coin) and for your 50th and 100th you got a yamica(sp?) like cap.
