Another weird one, the United States has more Irish than Ireland! Just a fun fact, no need to wonder why.
About 50 Tren de Aragua off the streets . . . weapons caches, powerful dangerous drugs etc. etc. in their possession.Operation "Return to Sender" targeting known criminals and people eluding deportation orders. Now the senders are having a meltdown because they thought they unloaded their criminals on to us, and now they're going to get them back. Thanks Don Trump.
Most first-world, progressive nations do not offer unconditional birthright citizenship (also called jus soli) like the United States. Instead, they generally use conditional birthright citizenship or citizenship by descent (jus sanguinis). Here’s a list of notable countries that do not automatically grant citizenship to anyone born on their soil:Nations Without Automatic Birthright Citizenship: 1. Germany • Citizenship is granted if at least one parent has lived in Germany legally for at least 8 years or holds permanent residency. 2. Japan • Citizenship is based solely on descent (jus sanguinis). At least one parent must be a Japanese citizen for the child to receive citizenship. 3. Denmark • Citizenship is granted only if at least one parent is a Danish citizen. 4. Sweden • A child does not automatically gain citizenship unless at least one parent is Swedish. 5. Norway • Citizenship is determined by descent. At least one parent must be Norwegian. 6. Finland • Citizenship is passed through descent from at least one Finnish parent. 7. South Korea • Citizenship is granted only if at least one parent is a South Korean citizen or under certain special conditions. 8. Switzerland • Birth on Swiss soil does not automatically confer citizenship unless one parent is Swiss. 9. Austria • Citizenship is only granted if at least one parent is an Austrian citizen. 10. Netherlands • Citizenship is passed through descent, not birth on Dutch soil. 11. Italy • Birthright citizenship is only granted if the child cannot inherit another nationality, or if at least one parent is an Italian citizen. 12. France • France has a conditional jus soli system: a child born in France to non-citizen parents may only acquire citizenship at age 18 if they have lived in the country for at least 5 years during their youth. 13. Spain • Citizenship is granted by descent. Birth in Spain does not automatically result in citizenship unless the child would otherwise be stateless. 14. United Kingdom • Children born in the UK only become citizens automatically if at least one parent is a British citizen or legally settled in the UK. 15. New Zealand • Citizenship by birth is granted only if at least one parent is a citizen or permanent resident. 16. Australia • Citizenship is granted at birth only if at least one parent is an Australian citizen or permanent resident. Otherwise, a child may apply for citizenship at age 10 if they have lived in Australia their whole life.Key Takeaways: • Countries that do not grant unconditional birthright citizenship typically prioritize citizenship by descent (jus sanguinis). • Some countries have conditional systems (e.g., France, Australia), where residency or other criteria must be met. This contrasts with nations like the United States or Canada, which follow unconditional jus soli, automatically granting citizenship to anyone born within their borders, regardless of parental status.
I guess someone could try explaining what the benefit of refusing to grant citizenship to a group that statistically outperforms children of US citizens in terms of academic performance and income.

Racist assholes need to feel superior from their every day crap lives so "being brown" is bad and no matter what, being white is better than being brown regardless of status. tldr: it riles up the dummies and scores political points.

You're always talking about stuff that was being talked about but never executed to try and support the now former sock puppet president.I'm sure the requisite oversight agencies in these instances are feeling much better now that they have an administration in place that supports them and will not kowtow to state and local #blueanon politicians.

My daughter's friend had ICE raids in her neighborhood and her patients won't let her leave the house with her social security card and birth certificate. (She is Ecuadorian but a US citizen and had a cousin deported last week). It's really gross.
