Still expecting an upcoming reveal when the White Walkers are shown to have less than evil motives.  Also hope Jon is resurrected by the White Walkers and not fire magic.

I'm hoping that they burn Jon's body and he is resurrected Dany-style since he has Targ blood.

I'll admit I think I'll enjoy it more since they'll be in completely uncharted waters with the show.

the thing about that is her brother died from hot gold on his head, so apparently it doesn't always protect your from fire.  i mean you dump some hot gold on her head and she just needs to wash it off, no harm done.  her brother dies horribly.

Molten gold being poured over your head is not the same as flames.

it's all heat.  he didn't drown, he burned to death.

Quote
He looks just as he had the last time she had seen him. His mouth is twisted in anguish, his hair is burnt, and his face is black and smoking where the molten gold has run down across his brow and cheeks and into his eyes.

it's not my fault grrm is inconsistent.

There's no proof that Dany wouldn't die if someone poured molten gold over her head.

Also, there is some speculation that Targaryens aren't really fire-proof; but that it was a special magical event (dragon's eggs hatching) that really caused her to survive. So maybe Melisandre could provide that magical event for Jon....or maybe the sacrifice of Shireen has already provided it.

Either way, GRRM has not been inconsistent on this point - it has just not been entirely explained yet.

it's all heat.  if fire doesn't burn you, then hot gold doesn't either.  good grief.  either she's fireproof or she isn't.  if it was a one-time thing, then fine, but if it wasn't then she's hot gold proof too.

there doesn't need to be speculation that targs aren't all fireproof, there's plenty of proof they aren't.

her being possibly fireproof had nothing to do with human resurrection.  you and cns are really flipping your dicks around on that one.

i don't see why the red lady couldn't just puke fire into him like thoros did with beric.  jon doesn't need to be fireproof for that.  or a targ.

p sure martin has already said that dany surviving the fire was a one time thing.  targs are naturally more resistant to heat, but not exactly fireproof

That gypsy lady said some crap about magic and it costing life.  Dany included the gypsy in the fire too.  I assume that it was a spell and the fat gypsy was the payment for dragons hatching and not G'ingAF about the fire.  :dunno:

Lord of light's already been paid Shireen, so they might have some store credit they can use towards Jon's revival.

This show just keeps getting worse. I'm kind of over it.  I say they just spend next season showing White Walkers murdering everyone from the Wall down to the tip of Dorne and then show dragons burning everything across the sea to ashes. Game (of thrones) Over and it ends in Fire and Ice.  Boom....  :buh-bye:

My wife finally decided to take the plunge so I am rewatching as she watches for the first time. It is a lot more enjoyable the second time.

My wife came into the room two different times in the past while I was watching the show.  1. Bran getting pushed and 2. One of the Little Finger's prostitute scenes.

She will not budge on giving it a try.

This is the thing.  She loves the other shows I love.  I mean, all but Dr Who.  I keep telling her she would like it, but she can't get herself past little Bran.

Did you explain his character is the worst and the show would have been fine had he just died then?
