I'm having a tougher time reconciling that this was done out of hate than it was crazy. Crazy is easier to understand (for me, at least).

I thought only two were christian? Also, can anyone confirm that white dumbasses support intent rather than actual outcome? I mean, he could totally jedi mindtrick these guys into thinking that they were secretly jewish because of his "heil hitler" bullshit and where he did it, right? Again, these particular white dumbasses are in prison, so factor that in too, I guess.

anything's possible, there are really stupid people in prison but if they hear he mindlessly killed 3 white christians i think even stupid prisoners would call bullshit on him and know he's just batshit.

Maybe? Lanza had a mental disorder. I don't think all KKK members have a mental disorder. Of course this guy could have had one, I don't know.

Most people probably don't realize how bad it could have been. The building itself is pretty secure, but not that particular entrance. He could have easily walked through the doors and into the theater which was full of kids because of auditions for a play and a talent competition. It would have been reminiscent of Aurora.

I'm assuming there will be some major security changes coming.

Nothing about the security kept it from being worse. There's no real security on that entrance so I'm just glad he didn't decide to enter the building.

I'll be there Wednesday (tomorrow is passover) so it will be interesting to see if they have added security at each entrance.

The shooter, Glenn Miller, has been fascinating to me for some time. In 2010 I visited Kansas City with my family. At about 2 in the morning possibly earlier, my 1 year old daughter couldn't sleep. so instead of having her wake up the entire house I took her for a drive to put her to sleep, while driving I heard these two ads back to back on the radio.

If you really want to get deep into it, if you consider it crazy to hate you also have to consider it crazy to love. Just different sides of the spectrum, if you buy into that philosophy.

But as far as this shooting, i'm betting on just plain crazy. Considering the haphazardness of the plot and terrible execution.

Police chief basically said the officers asked him to surrender and he did.

Him deciding not to enter the buildings leads me to believe that he fully intended to live through this, and maybe even went to the elementary school intentionally knowing the officers wouldn't want to fire on him
