Can someone explain the deal with Arya and the wolf. Was that hers and is it supposed to not really like her now that she left it and it has already made a bunch of new wolf friends?

It was her wolf. It likes her enough not to eat her but not enough to give up wolf life. Wouldn't be surprised if it pops up to save her in the next few episodes.
