The 3ER said "the past is already written; the ink is dry." One of those statements may be incorrect. Also, pretty clear that Bran is much stronger than 3ER.
This excludes the possibility of predetermination/fate. In the original history Ned jerked around because he heard a voice cry out "Father" that he couldn't explain, it just took some 20 years for the event to come around full circle. Bran was predestined to have done that, even before he did it. The ink is not only dry on the past but on the future (or at least some of it).
Also, re: magic or gods, after you guys are done, can we discuss who would win in a fight, Batman or Superman? It seems like the direction you're headed.
