Continuum is cool when you write it out. Lots of hump'y letters all in a row.

"Wind" is kind of an odd word when you think about it. One of the few words that, having the same spelling, has 2 different pronunciations meaning completely unrelated things. At least with "read" it's just a past/present tense issue but the words are still of the same ilk.

I guess "lead" would also fall into that category.

Eff is a really strange word. I am guessing that has been covered. Also, flipping somebody off looks really strange. Stick your middle finger up and then just look at it from all directions. Looks weird. Right?

So a major part of my territory is Kentucky and OMG, these doctors flip on the pronunciation of "Louisville". Like, I haven't messed it up yet, but my manager is from Kentucky and we say "Louisville" a lot (for territory purposes) and she tries to correct me on how they say it down there. I can't do it guys, I'll always say it as a northerner.  :dunno:

my wife does the downgrade pronunciation of crayon and I don't let her say it in front of our kids (or just mock her about it in front of them) so they don't inherit this terrible gene.

her: crAOWN
literally everyone: wtf
her: crAEOWN
me: baby, you know I love you, never speak again in your entire rough ridin' life

its neither a sandwich nor a salad, so this classification seems appropriate :dunno:
