I love the show but am having a hard time believing they would give that nutcase Carry the Pakistan station chief job. Her character is becoming a little too unbelievable.   Quinn is a badass though.

I've enjoyed Homeland as a whole.  There's a few storylines that were meh but overall 

I love the show but am having a hard time believing they would give that nutcase Carry the Pakistan station chief job. Her character is becoming a little too unbelievable.   Quinn is a badass though.

You understand how she got it, right?  They didn't really "give" it to her.  Quinn's initial drunk storyline was one of the meh ones I was talking about, now he's back to being a badass finally.

When Coach Taylor didn't turn in Smash for his steroid use and let him get clean and not destroy his future  He really stuck his neck out there for Smash, big time.  No honest man can say he doesn't care about these kids.  But, perhaps there was a bit of self-preservation involved, knowing he might need Smash in order to qualify for the playoffs?  I don't like to think that way about Coach T, but one could make that point...

Yeah, that was bittersweet for me, too. I think Coach Taylor keeps his heart full and his eyes clear for the most part, though.

I know how she got it but I would have liked it better if the agency just offed her and then Quinn stepped up. I didn't like the PTSD storyline but thought it was awesome when Quinn became a chubby chaser.

One of the few shows that doesn't lead the viewer to think there is one clear cut answer for a tough situation. It's one of my favorite things about the show. That and how realistic the characters are. You see the good and bad in everyone and still care for them a great amount.
