watched a couple eps of sons of anarchy this weekend. Loved when they went to Belfast and had the the irish version of the theme song, like saved by the bell would do if they had an episode in hawaii. Also enjoyed many sharp inhales from the lesbian atf agent and the sexual tension between jacks and his irish sister. You know if Jacks was really a badass he would bang her (not knowing she's his sister) but the show won't let him do that because that would make lose some of his ultimate biker gang badass mystique.

I don't watch this, but from the outside looking in I don't think I've seen another show that went through the following arc as big as Game of Thrones has:

"A lot of people appear to watch and like it" to
"A few people started dropping off" to
"Half the viewers are now lost/bored with it and the other half are trying to keep pumping it" to
"A large number of viewers have the opinion 'eff this show'"

i found the exact opposite.  i notice more and more people picking up this show, i don't know anyone that no longer enjoys it.

i'm a total HBO fanboy though, and think GoT is their second best series ever.

can't exactly what happened in Ireland - the show started to lose me here or right before here.  would have brought me right back in with a little unintentional incest.

I watched the first few episodes of season one, but having read all of the books to date, and being the fanniest of fanboys in that regard, the show couldn't hold a candle to them and I quickly went flacid on it.  It did inspire me to reread the books again.  In other words, I'm intellectually superior to you television-dependent cretins.

I have watched (and pretty much loved) everything on HBO since dream on/the larry sanders show.  GoT is easily my second favorite, with the wire being far away the number 1.
