I'd have no issue helping you out if that was your wish to do so.

When I was a kid it was definitely dinosaurs. My dad took my to Jurassic Park when I was way too young. And then I rewatched it a year later to try to concur my fear. It did not work in the least.

Now I'd say snakes.

And for everyone who has the fear of fathering a child, you know where to find me.

I used to get super nervous during flying. Mostly takeoff and landing. Now I love it and enjoy looking out the window at cities and things.

We've been trying to adopt for a while. I've made a standing invitation to anyone who has an unwanted pregnancy that we will adopt it.

i have feared death and/or serious bodily injury for as long as i can remember, and it only gets worse. it's an awful way to live. a few months ago, while walking on the sidewalk, a driver lost control of her car, drove across the sidewalk and crashed into a wall. since then, i have tried to avoid running on sidewalks, and never run against traffic.

last night, i went indoor rock climbing for the first time, and actually enjoyed it. came home, Googled "indoor rock climbing death," and pulled up a story about an EXPERIENCED rock climber from Texas who fell to her death indoors. i might never go again.

when i was a kid, we lived in two different houses. both times, my bedroom was directly in front of the steps. i hated that because i knew i'd be the first (only?) of my family members murdered if an intruder broke in.

read a story once about a person's cruise control not working. instead, the car accelerated, faster and faster, until it wrapped itself around a tree killing both the driver and passenger. to this day, i refuse to use cruise control when driving.

i could go on and on, literally forever, about the things i won't do or never will again; or the way i've avoided doing things i used to enjoy.

my biggest fear is flying, despite the statistics.

:frown: This just described me to a t. Especially the flying part. It never bothered me until my flight to Pittshburgh for the tourney. We hit a air pocket forcing the plane to dive really fast and pop everyones drinks up into the air. I was taking a nap when this happened. I thought I was a goner. Never again.

My great grandmother had a weird thing where she painted a shitload of clowns. They were very good paintings, but my grandparents put them in the playroom, so I was scared shitless of my grandparents playroom.

My biggest fear now is not only heights, but being off balance at heights. That Grand Canyon tightrope walker show was one of the 10 most stressful hours of my life. I lean back in my chair a lot, and sometimes when I'm super tired I feel like the ground is going to give way and leave me falling backwards.

My biggest fear used to be wasps, and it's probably still wasps. Scratch that, DEFINITELY still wasps.
