Basically, they biffed up a delivery that I had called for weeks in advance and double checked on the day before.  When I received word that the flowers hadn't been delivered (from her) I called and learned they had the absolute worst customer service in the entire world. 

Basically, the whole episode ended with me getting a refund (I denied their request to redeliver the flowers), filing a BBB complaint, and using ProFlowers. 

Proflowers is absolutely the way to go.

Going off dlews story I have learned to go directly to the flower store for the order. Just google flower shops in the area and call some directly to cut the middleman out.

On a side note I stopped sending flowers to my gf's work because she is a nurse and they just leave them at reception and she ends up getting them like 2 days later. 1/3 times they reached her the same day I scheduled them to be delivered.
