Thanks, bud! I think she wants them sent to her work tho. You know how girls love that attention and want to make other girls jealous that she's got a guy and they don't. Gotta add the delivery charge.

take them over on your lunch break then. or leave work an hour early to go give them to her. why would you pay someone to deliver them? make them other girls jealous by wearing something nice and delivering them yourself. grab a vase from her apartment or borrow one from someone for the time being to put them in. idk... get creative. its not difficult. but don't say buying the flowers is tough. every year thousands of guys call the florist and say "idc. you pick the flowers just make them alive and not sad."

Yes, I did.  I thought it would be original and kind of fun. I was wrong. Originally, I was trying to find a naughty nurse type singing telegram like in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, but I came across that group that does singing Valentine's and thought, he likes big band era music (kind of) so it might be cute. He didn't think it was all that cute.

I told my GF I wanted a horn section to follow me around for a day so I could go "Hit me" and they would all play.  Been saying it for years now and still come up empty on valentines day.  Would love to drop some knowledge in a meeting, throw out a "hit me two times" and walk out.

Flower update:

Picked out a set of flowers (non roses, cause she doesn't think they're original... etc.  ) at Hy vee over lunch. They're sitting in the back of my car right now. 3 different kinds of flowers and the vase all equaled out to $21.23. I will deliver them to hallmark (where she works and make all of this crap, I mean, I should have just got her a gift card to her own place  ) tomorrow and surprise her. Thanks Tonya!

alright, new plan!  celebrate tomorrow but give the flowers on valentines day unless you want the entire hallmark office to think you are the biggest idiot on the planet. take those flowers and put them somewhere in your apartment near a window. give them the food tomorrow before you leave for work so they don't die before you make the hallmark janitor do an extra mop job in ms wackys office space. go to the nearest hyvee/floral shop before you go to dinner tomorrow and get a single red rose to give to her before dinner. on ACTUAL REAL VALENTINES DAY bring the flowers to her office. smile.
