Yeah, good luck getting service providers to deliver flawlessly on their busiest, most over-extended day of the year.  I'll do some flowers on the day before and dinner day before or after, but I also need dat X factor - something unexpected.

speaking of romantic tunes you missed the best part.  when i picked up me lady that night, i stood outside her place wearing a brown trench coat and held my boom box above my head playing Peter Gabriel music like that scene from Say Anything.  needless to say all the neighbors were taking pictures and high fiving and stuff. 

it's kind of like, i take valentines day as a personal challenge to get as classy and romantic as a person has ever gotten.  anyone who knows me knows that i go 110% every single day when i do personal challenges.    i turn up the class to blast and the romance to 150%.

Yes, I did.  I thought it would be original and kind of fun. I was wrong. Originally, I was trying to find a naughty nurse type singing telegram like in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, but I came across that group that does singing Valentine's and thought, he likes big band era music (kind of) so it might be cute. He didn't think it was all that cute.
