Quote from: steve dave on February 10, 2014, 02:26:14 PMher brothers poor or something? One's a lawyer, the other is like the Senior director of sales for a major medical device company. They're not. That's why it was so confusing.
her brothers poor or something?

I'm sorry fanman, who got a share of the check? You, and each brother? I'm trying to understand why this isn't fair.

I have seen wealthy people act very uncomfortable because a dinner guest basically pushed the bill towards the wealthy person. Not saying that is what happened that night, but that is what your above post sounds like.

I definitely was ready to pay for Ms. Wackysquawk and I's dinner and chip in for the parents portion.
what jams are you guys playing for when it's time?
what was the $$$ difference between just paying you/lady fanning/a third of her parents compared to what you actuallly paid?
okay... anyway... I think I have it figured out. I'm going with a gift cert to a fancy massage place that will get her 2 great massages or 1 for her and a friend, a sappy ass V day card, and take her out to dinner the night before or night after Vday somewhere somewhat nice... like Chili's... not Tanners.
