So stupid. She, nor Paris Hilton got famous for sex tapes. Hundreds of thousands of people are or have been on film having sex, I don't think porn companies are lining up to sell those tapes. I mean the of the porn was Kim K Superstar. I also hate the people that contend it was calculated to further her career. So essentially this lady's boyfriend sold a private sex tape without permission years after she dumped him but she constantly gets crap on for it, pretty mumped up if you ask me.

Definite dick move by ol' Ray J, but definitely increased K's fame tenfold. Before that she was barely known, and even then just as one of Paris Hilton's little buddies.

I enjoy the next lines as well.

"Bow on our arrival, the un-American idols" <--- see reference to fame, sex tapes and other controversies, yet still so popular. Maybe because of? Respect them. They're badasses as Kanye tells it.

"What n----- did in Paris had 'em hangin' off the Eiffel" <-- obv. reference to N----- in Paris, but perhaps a throwback reference to Paris Hilton and Kim's old crew? Who knows? This one might be a stretch.

Didn't argue that the sex tape didn't make her more famous. The larger point is that she didn't "make a sex tape to become famous" and saying or even implying it is deplorable and the worst kind of victim shaming.

Agreed, kudos to her for cashing in on an otherwise unfortunate situation.

She's famous because she's hot and her family is insanely wealthy which led her to get a reality show and then she married one of the most famous men in the world. She's a pop culture phenomenon.
