She's a 35 year old, 1 hit wonder who we'll probably never hear from again.

Thank god...the fact that she won anything shows how terrible some music is becoming.

My boy JT absolutely got the shaft after releasing one of his greatest albums to date and also collaborating with multiple other artists. I thought this year he would finally get the proper recognition for his work, but apparently I am in the minority.
I love JT, but that album was not his best work. It was average at best.

If you look at the complete album not just the first half or second half, it is by far his best one...closely behind though is FS/LS

hi JT, congrats on not sucking as much as you used to.  here is a grammy.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

If by that you mean total number of good songs, then maybe, but there was a fair amount of mediocrity on that album.  RAM was quite a bit better overall, and deserved to win.

While I also agree that RAM was an incredible album, what I'm saying is that Lorde winning over JT for best Pop Solo Performance is an absolute crime. Mirrors>Royals

award shows are just bleh.

They don't move the needle at all.

Prince is the GD man tho.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

How else do you explain it then?

I didn't watch it, but I've seen that segment and he's either almost Andy Kaufman like, or he's trying to do outlandish things in order to stay front and center in media.

Or you can choose to believe he's just sticking up for "real artists" like Beyonce.   :jerk:

he performed at the grammys (twice) and has a new album coming out. he had a front row seat to the grammys. he was simply making fun of himself for being an ass a few years ago, and the crowd/america ate it up. he was being funny... but, you didnt watch...

I said I watched that segment and his post Grammy interview with E! was hilarious (okay, not really)

But then again, we can possibly add "The Next Andy Kaufman" to Kanye's list.

i saw the interview. of course he was upset beyonce didnt win, so were most people. im just referring to him handling it differently than making a huge scene. he waited until the interview to make his point (no matter how muddy it was) instead of trying to be the center of attention.

hes not doing ridiculous things to stay in front of the media. his music, clothing line, wife, etc all make him the center of attention and hes realized that. hes not becoming irrelevant.

I seriously did not even know Beck still made music, let alone that he now sounds like Simon and Garfunkel, and let alone that he made anything remotely close to good enough for winning a Grammy. I don't really follow the music scene though, I just listen to Pandora.
