When I first saw these threads on goEMAW.blog, my belief in humanity dropped a little bit. But since Chingon allowed IPs to be visible to all users, I was happy to find out that there is not a large portion of people who actually watch this god-awful reality TV show, and that there are not lot of people who continually mistake a completely scripted soap opera as an actual sport.

The IP-viewing ability has restored my faith in those faithful to real sports, and subsequently restored my faith in goEMAW.

To those who unironically post in this thread as a handcuff to actually taking about this "show" seriously, please move out of your parents' houses and find a job. Be productive in society. You're not going to be able to act like you're 13 very much longer. Soon you're going to have to start a 401K, get your own medical insurance, and generally be useful within the confines of federal economic systems, or your life will turn to shambles faster than you can see it coming.

This is nothing more than a public service announcement. Please be smart about your future.

Listen, I'll move out of my parents house when my mom stops cooking premium totinos pizzas for me 3 nights a week and cancels my WWE Network subscription.

just read something about a story ric flair was telling about a time in the locker room where the ultimate warrior made some mean comment to rick rude and rick rude IRL beat the crap out of him. I would like to have seen that. RIP to most (all?) of the above obviously.

also again, I would like to get together a panel of still living classic wrestlers to tell stories about wrestlers IRL beating the crap out of each other and then discussing, based on the results of those ass whippings, which wrestler would be the WWF champ of IRL beating the crap out of other wrestlers.

roman (who bray is feuding with) came out and cut a 10 minute promo wherein he recapped their entire feud.  he was getting "WHAT"'d by the crowd and he said "you guys havin' a hard time hearing me?" then when he continued, the crowd chanted "boring" and he told the crowd that what he was saying WASN'T boring.  then out comes the family wyatt.  bray cut a short promo where he did his mystical babble.  brawn strongman fought roman one on one.  roman wins via count out after a series of superman punches.

i was reading something the other day about how rick rude was super religious IRL and was stone cold's and brian pillman's road buddy.  apparently rick rude would lose his crap whenever stone cold said bad words.

man, had to be tough to keep it in his pants religious style while at the same time being so ravishing. unless his religion didn't care about that part.

like, honkey tonk man was a great wrestler, could be the greatest intercontinental champ of all time in fact, but I bet in IRL locker room fights even some of the pud managers could kick his ass.

honky tonk man and jerry lawler were related in some way.  maybe cousins?  and, this was probably after your time, SD, but brian christopher of Too Cool was the King's son.  it was a running joke between king and JR that people weren't supposed to know of the relationship, but King would slip in "man, that brian christopher is a good lookin' cat!  bet he's been good lookin' his whole life!" and then JR would say "well why don't you just go home and check his baby pictures" and king would quickly screech "WHAT!?"

also, as far as best IRL fighter of the classic wrestlers go, i'd have to think it begins and ends with ken shamrock.

if we're not counting guys who are "actual" fighters (so no shamrock, angle, steve blackmon, etc) then i'd probably put money on vader.  bam bam bigelow would be up there too.

Some GREAT IRL stories on the Stone Cold Podcast episode with the Jake the Snake interview.

Best one is Austin asking Jake about the first time he ever "bladed" ---- (For you LWIQ people, "blading" is wrestler-speak for cutting yourself with a razor blade during a match)

Anyway ... Austin asks this questions expecting some wrestling story.

Roberts proceeds to tell Austin the first time he ever bladed was not in a match at all, but when he was out late having sex in a car with some wrestling groupie. He knew he had nothing to tell his wife at the time about where he'd been, so Jake decides to try blading. He slices his forehead open multiple time with a razor, goes home and tells her he'd been jumped.

Austin is just silent. He has absolutely no response. It's amazing.
