Is IRS still wrestling? Oh man, Razor Ramon?

IRS is on a "legends contract" with the WWE. He makes semi-frequent, non-wrestling appearances on Monday Night Raw. Razor Ramon is on a lot of drugs. Sadly. he's probably not long for this world.

I have no clue who that is cassidy
also most of my wrestling viewing came at a young age where I would watch it over at a friends house or one of my bro y-l_as would rent a vhs for me from Dillons. Mom y-l_a did not approve.. guess what though! I watched the simpsons when you weren't home also!

i don't know anything about wrestling but when i first got to middle school, apparently everyone picked sides of being either wcw or nwo and there would be impromptu rumbles all over the hallways for like the first week.  they eventually got it settled down but then we had to read the outsiders and it just took a darker turn and was reincarnated as "greasers vs soc's"

My mom was totally fine with wrestling, but would not let me watch MTV under any circumstance. Weird?

Speaking of, the wrestling thing with me is strange. I've been a huge fan my whole life, but I have no idea why.

Most things that kids like can be traced. I'm a huge Mets fan because my dad would take me to games. I like some classic rock bands because my dad liked them. I know a bunch about the Beatles because my mom loves them. Wrestling, though? Nobody in my family ever liked it. Nobody else I knew as a kid watched it, either. It's like I just stumbled upon it when I was five and learning to work a remote.

Also, back then wrestling was such a southern thing. I have no idea how a kid living on Long Island fell in love with it. I like to think pro wrestling somehow found me.

The picture is a CM Punk, by the way. He's sort of the anti-authority figure of the era. Kinda like a less-redneck, modern-day Stone Cold.

How about Rick 'The Model' Martel? Oh man how about The Narcissist??
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

Both shockingly alive. Though, The Narcissist is paralyzed. Also, the Lovely Miss Elizabeth (Macho man's old manager) died of a drug overdose at Narcissist's house.

when i was in college (late 90's) we may or may not have watched wrestling a decent amount and i may or may not have lived on vattier at the time and we may or may not have made up vattier championship wrestling and we may or may not have been kicked out of kj's the only time we went in because we did ddt's and figure fours in the ring and this may or may not have been when the nwo was big and i may or may not have had ballards print up shirts and gave them as christmas gifts to my friends and two roommates at the time and i may or may not still have mine.

This is amazing.

There was a ring in KJ's? Also, I want one of those shirts.

You must've taken too many chair shots over the years.  How could you even know what KJ's is and not immediately think of the ring?

KJ's was before my time. Have only heard people talk about it. Never knew there was a ring. Was it where the last incarnation of Aggie Station was?

It was kind of separate but basically part of Chance, just west of the front patio.  And the ring was just a small dance floor with ropes around most of the non-wall sides.

So who does everyone have to win the upcoming Royal Rumble?

My preference:
Punk wishes he was as over as DB, Rob.

Is Bryan even in the Royal Rumble match? I think he's wrestling Bray Wyatt instead, no?

I love DB, too. You know who else I'm starting to love? I love the gimmick:

I do believe so, yes. (To the BW match) However, I'm hoping DB enters at #30 and gets a huge pop.

BNB is absolutely incredible and I hope they push it.

In 1995, Ric Flair wrestled in front of 190,000 people in North Korea  :sdeek:

Kinda bummed about the Royal Rumble result.

I was firmly on board with Roman Reigns. Not sure if he's ready to be champ just yet, though. Still, Bautista headlining Wrestlemania does absolutely nothing for me.

Gonna need something like Bryan-Undertaker to save the card.
