Its funny how some people still seem to be surprised by KU's turnover problems. They turn it over on 18.5% of their possessions in Big 12 games and 18.9% for the season. They have 20% TO% games on a regular basis. When they lose in the NCAA tournament, this will probably be one of the major reasons, they are awful at handling the ball.

Its pretty amazing that they have kept their season afloat even with the TO problem

Got some more super insidery info tonight re: KU's long bus ride home after the game: flaring tempers, a phone call made in the heat of the moment, and the abuse of public transportation seating. PM for deets.

I think their biggest problem will be keeping Imbiid healthy through six tournament games, especially if he plays three games in three days in Kansas City.

It is. They do basically everything else really well offensively. They shot it well, espcially from 2-pt range. They are great to great on the offensive glass. They're serviceable from 3-pt range. They get to the line a lot. Plus, they get a lot of easy buckets off of turnovers because they have the studs to finish on the break.

Pretty amazing that they're kenpoms No. 6 offense despite all the turnovers.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

1. Felix's transformation from terrible shooter to good gives me a lot of hope for Jevon.

2. OSU winning gives me more confidence in our chance to win Monday. They're still celebrating their win and I imagine we're all like "oh cool, we beat floodaggie, nbd, let's prepare for the Pokes".

If we get the 3 seed.... we will either be taking on Baylor or WV.  Unless Okst wins in Ames

Baylor went 3-1 vs Osu/WV.  So they get the 6 unless WV beats KU

Go Tech over Texas (Sat) and lets beat the Bears in OOD

Don't mind playing either Baylor or WV in KC.   Would take.  :driving:

It wouldn't be real fun to play Baylor back to back. But WVU probably isn't going to beat KU.

WV probably our ideal opponent, but rather play Baylor back to back then have to play Ok St again.   Very unlikely OU loses, so Isu is basicly in the 4 vs 5 game.... so playing Isu to get KU...... obviously no one wants that.

what are the tie-breaking rules in the big 12?

I would rather play BU back to back than play ISU again in the 4/5 games. For that to happen, we need UT to lose at Tech on Saturday, which is possible. We would win the 3 seed tie breaker due to our head to head record against the #1 team (KU).

what are the tie-breaking rules in the big 12?

Baylor WV and Osu all finish 8-10....... Baylor went 3-1 vs the other 2, so they get the 6 seed.   Ok St would then get the 7 as they swept WV

As mentioned, Ksu gets the 3 seed if us, Isu and Texas all end 11-7.   All 3 of us went 2-2 vs other 2.   Texas and us beat KU(1 seed), so that knocks Isu out of the picture.   Texas got swept by OU (the likely 2 seed) and we split with OU..... so that is why we would get the 3seed.  And then 4 seed Texas vs 5 seed Isu

thanks.  so if ut wins their last two (tcu and tech), then kstate gets the 4 and plays isu (5).  love playing isu.
