I hate doing this but I'm sure you can draw this dividing line between people who have competitively played contact sports and those who haven't. You guys know Smart has denied flopping right? Why do you think that is, probably because he's proud of his flopping right?

Man I never said that. I said the league, meaning the basketball administrator and the supervisor of officials, look at his flops. Dave Armstrong said that multiple coaches has complained about his flopping and I think we can all be sure that oscar was one of the coaches who sent in film. Oklahoma State feels like he is already getting punished by not getting legitimate foul calls. When I said its going to cost him I mean he's going to do that late and either be called for a foul or will be so far out of position that he'll give up a layup, which should have happened tonight.

ok. so you said league and i said that you said league office. let's get past that. you think that the flops will add up to the point that they will come back to get him. i don't. based on tonight and what you said above, i'm right. we'll see about future games. maybe they are waiting for the 23rd time on video where he flopped. maybe 22 wasn't enough.

Assuming OSU gets to the NCAA, it will be interesting to see how non-B12 refs treat Smart.

Like I said OSU already thinks hes being targeted, I'm sure that they'll point to the block he was called for earlier in that game when he flopped twice in 2 seconds. But, yeah maybe you're right that he should just keep playing the percentages.  Do it lots and get the benefit of the doubt 8 out of 10 times.

There isn't a conversation had about OSU and Smart had by the media that this isn't talked about. Its a topic on conference calls, scouts talk about it, players are going on record talking about. He's getting over but everyone sees it and identifies it as a problem except for you and sunny_cat. Like I said, Smart is so proud of it, he won't admit to doing it.

Well that's fair, but I would say Will is guility of the same thing (Yes, they're more charges than anything). I believe those are charges, but my point being, if we had a guy doing that and saving a trip down the floor on D, I'd love it. It's shitty, but give me every edge I can take with an under talented class. I think every team has one, but he's more noted, cause he's at the top of the league.
