Here's the thing.  two things, actually.  1) as a grown ass man, any item I could ever want for Christmas, I've already got because I buy it myself during the year.  2) my wife gets her money from me.

So, in conclusion, I neither want nor need anything at Christmas.  Furthermore, if my wife insists on getting me something, I'd prefer for it to be something inexpensive.

I think we'll all agree that being upset about not getting an IPad Air means you're probably a poor or just a complete bitch.

Merry Christmas!

My 95-year-old grandma recently lost her license and has been depressed about staying home (says she gets bored), so I went to the $1 store and bought her everything I could fit into a cart - word puzzles, crosswords, picture books, a recorder, a train whistle, dolls, a paddle with ball, candy canes, chocolates, and dozens of other useless items - and called it a "boredom box."

Twenty-four hours later, I still don't think she's gone through everything in the box.

Oh, and she loved it! :Woot:

Wait?  Your wife gets her money from you?  Is this before or after she fetches you your slippers, gets the paper for you and fills your empty coffee mug?  Honestly it's nice to hear about another person being such a great soul on Christmas.  I'll make sure to start a "How awesome of a person are you at Christmas" next year.  If it makes any of you jerks happy I've decided not to return all the clothes I received.  I'm just hoping to parlay this into something half way decent.  I mean how cool is it that on top of getting a load of crap for Christmas I get an "errand" to run on top of it?  Mods please close thread.  All the George Bailey postings have scared off the 5% of people who got gypped over Christmas and now will not post.. :shakesfist:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

No, dumbass.  Like, I'm the primary bread winner.  But yes, she typically does make the coffee in the morning.  It's a pleasant way to begin the morning.

Hmmm, for some reason I was under the impression he was a rough ridin' dunce more often than not.  Maybe I have him confused with someone else.  Then again maybe you're not to be trusted.  We'll never know.

I only got a calendar because that's the only thing I asked for.  If I want something, I'll go buy it.  Had a blast watching my kids and wife open up their presents though.

And I got a flannel shirt and some choke tubes for my Winchester(will help me judge more accurately in 2014).  I'm good with it but I can empathize with PWood because I actually purchased one of those gifts myself.  It just doesn't feel right buying my own gifts.  Oh well #trophystudproblems
