Must be tired of being a bench option. NE might just sneak into the playoffs...

One of you tweeted that Nate and Jake were in a closet in KC and that the team was still trying to sell tickets. What are you talking about?

It was a retweet from MIR. And he was pointing out how ridiculous it is that Sporting stopped sending a broadcast team to away games.

So this Wednesday match is interesting. Before anyone entertained the possibility of SPR being in the championship game we just laughed about SKC throwing a USL line up out there. Now what? You would think they won't be playing anything close to a full USL roster. I would think this would be a hybrid of SKC and SPR bench players but does Sporting have very many of those with all of the injuries?

Roster will be stretched thin for sure. Alvarado and Kempin will start for SKC. That's about all I can predict. Naga probably since JP is supposed to be back for next Sunday. Olum/Opara is my CB guess.

He should insist on not playing in 55,000 seat baseball stadiums in front of 12,000 people.

Possibly Atlanta? Maybe he waits for LAFC?

He should insist on not playing in a 75,000 seat football stadium in front of 10,000 people.

Atlanta has an absolute shitload of season ticket holders. Also it's going to look different for soccer games somehow, can't remember what they're doing

22,000 pretty damn good. Someone should tell them though that putting up curtains still makes the stadium a 71,000 seat stadium. Curtains :flush:

Okay, a lot to unpack here.
1. Since gE has been around this is the fifth, seriously fifth, round of Kraft "talking" about building a SSS.
2. I've heard people in Boston say that Kraft really doesn't want to build a SSS. Not only does he own the Revs and Pats and Gillette, but he owns the parking lots and the commercial development around Gillette. They don't do great but he keeps all of the money, everything, why would he give that away? I've been told he'll build if he doesn't have to pay for it.
3. That UMASS Boston site is terrible, not as bad as Foxboro but still really bad, hard for most in the area to access.
