I thought a large portion of modern soccer and its spread was due in large part to the British? I learned a lot about the game growing up by attending camps instructed by Australians.

Mainly I just don't see a problem with those terms being used. Could other terms be used as well? Yes. But it's silly to be upset about in my opinion.

I just don't understand the need to replace every day words Americans use with words British people use just because the subject is soccer. Doesn't bother me anymore, I just don't get it.

I really prefer this argument not go too far. I hate it.

Same. We may lose Roger and Besler for the knockouts. Although Honduras blows so maybe not.

Pulled the trigger on a usoc ticket for next week. Also there is no limit on tickets for members. I will use my cauldron membership for any gE'r who wants a $20 cauldron ticket.
