Will be interesting to see how far up MLS climbs after the CBA expires and is renegotiated

Dispersal Draft

Players I would consider drafting:

GK - Kennedy - if we lose either Gruenebaum or Kronberg
CB - Jean-Baptiste - if we lose Collin; very young, huge upside
CB - Hurtado - ONLY if we lose Collin AND AJB not available
AM - Delgado - Feilhaber and Medranda are our only attacking midfielders unless you count Zusi; very young, huge upside
AM - McNamara - see above; also could play winger
DM - Sturgis - to be defensive mid depth; can play fullback
ST - Finley - we're going to need strikers; Bieler and/or Dwyer are gone

ST - Calvert - see above; very young, huge upside
AM - Avila - not sure what he would play in our system; winger or attacking mid; doesn't seem to be a great fit; can play fullback
AM - Chávez - decent winger; may have good chemistry with Espinoza/Claros from Honduras :dunno:

Now that we have the 3 slot, there are only 5 I'd consider. Kennedy being my 1st choice, and either Delgado or AJB being 2nd. It feels good knowing we can get one of those 3. Also worth mentioning this draft takes place 9 days after the Expansion Draft.

It's tomorrow.

MLS website specifies Burling, Kaji (some very old Japanese right back I've never heard of), and Calvert as fitting in well at KC fwiw (not much).

Dispersal Draft is at 3pm.

In the meantime, here are the newly announced rules for the expansion draft which is on Dec 10. Basically the same as last time.http://pressbox.mlssoccer.com/content/2014-expansion-draft-rules

Both leagues are growing and facing the obstacles of other sports' popularity. Never said they were on the same level.

than you're completely missing my point.  no one would argue that the MLS isn't a destination for premiere league's upper echelon once their clubs have moved on.  The issue I, and many others took, with his comments is that the MLS is mentioned in the same breath as a new start up league which doesn't have a fairly decent foundation and talent pool.
