SKC being good is good for our wonderful city. I'm happy for the soccer fans and will enjoy watching the team in the playoffs

Remeber when I was posting in here every week after bad results saying I wasn't worried? Well I'm not and I really think we are going back to MLS Cup

I am just sad that it will be unlikely to be a home game.

Looks like playoffs will be DC, NE, SKC, NY, Columbus.

NY over Columbus in the play in and then they pull the shocker over DC while we get over our demons vs NE then handle NY to go to MLS cup

I'm #team42 pretty hard you guys (once the playoffs come around). Good chance we finish with more points. If Dallas puts together a run, we could host them in the MLS Cup final. :emawkid:

Also, STM playoff package goes on sale tomorrow. :Woot: Getting worried the games may conflict with Cat Football. :ohno:

If we end up as the 3rd seed, the first leg will be either Sat Nov 1 (Okie State) or Sun Nov 2. If we advance and DC gets upset, our home game against NY or Columbus would be the second leg on Sat Nov 29 (KU) or Sun Nov 30.

Wish they didn't win though. We need to finish ahead of them in the Shield standings.

Not that it matters to us, but since FCD just beat LAG, LA and Seattle are now tied at 60 points both with 2 games to go (both against each other - a home and home). Seattle has 19 wins. LA only 17, so LA will need 4 points or more from the two games to grab the 1 seed and Supporter's Shield. Otherwise, it's Seattle's.

Called in for Honduras friendly on Tuesday night. I'd think they'd still be available for Saturday's game at Philly. :dunno: Hopefully they play 45 minutes each or less.

"The duo helped Sporting KC secure the team's fourth consecutive postseason berth with a 2-0 win over Chicago on Friday and will re-join their club teammates in time to be available for Saturday's match at Philadelphia."

I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

All the soccer journalists are saying this was always going to happen. Maybe he has ties to the area or something.

Matt Besler was walking very, very gingerly after leaving the US locker room. Almost surely a hamstring.
