No but they probably never have. I wasn't looking to argue with locals. At the Tower of London someone did notice my SKC shirt, and a timbers fan took a picture with me.

that game was extremely fun even though it had the usual turnoffs for casual watchers (low score*, parking the bus)

both teams seemed willing to die on the field
