you guys we had an off day. it's NBD, it really isn't. last season (our championship season) we played Philly 3 times, and the away team won all 3.

No one said it was a huge deal. We're still one of the best teams in the league. Doesn't change the fact that we played shitty. No excuse to lose to an Edu-less Philadelphia at home. That said, we lose games every year there's no excuse to lose. Our record at SP has never been sterling like our away record has been.

Would be really really surprised if Dom was here in '15. I'm not convinced he'll be here at the end of this year.

I wouldn't be surprised either way. Everyone thought they knew for sure (including me) that Bieler would leave during the offseason, and he's still here.

The reason everyone though Bieler would be gone is because his agent was telling everyone who would listen he is gone.

Also, I didn't hear about the official attendance numbers last night, but it was almost completely full during the game. Couldn't tell a difference from any other sell out. Took much longer to fill up than normal though. When I got there, the parking lot was pretty dead.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

The Galaxy signed a 15 year old today.

New youngest current player in the league. Pretty sure EPB was the previous.

Listening to Sporting matches on the radio is surprisingly fun. I was forced to listen driving back to Iowa from Minnesota, the guys did a great job.

Sellout streaks of any kind should come with an asterisk and really shouldn't be taken seriously. There is no threshold in any sport as to what is considered a sellout. The only real consensus as to what is considered a sellout is that it doesn't mean no available tickets. To some organizations a sellout constitutes a certain percentage of tickets sold, to others it's the number of tickets distributed as it relates to capacity. Whatever it means is totally in the eyes of the beholder because there is no standard that any sports franchise needs to be held accountable to, so it really doesn't matter.

So Olum is going for both games... That means he'll miss 4 games, Chicago, TFC, NY, and DC....

Mike Kuhn: Rosell is apparently questionable too

I'm preparing for a backline of Peterson, Sinovic, Myers, Juliao.

We're going to lose at home to Michael Bradley-less Toronto just like we lost to Maurice Edu-less Philadelphia.

EDIT: In all seriousness, Sinovic, EPB/Naga, Myers, Juliao is what we're probably looking at. I feel like EPB can be ready to go.

Yeah, Nate and Jake do a nice job. I think they'll get even better after a few more games together, smoothing out some of the "who talks when" stuff when things get exciting. If I had one complaint, it would be that I wish Nate would throw in a few more mentions of the area of the pitch when they're between the boxes, i.e., "up to Rosell at midfield" or "over to Sinovic who streaks down the near touch-line," just to help as I'm drawing the mental picture.

World Cup taking away best players is what he's referring to I think.
