It was supposed to spell out "defend." They mixed up two letters, and failed to unfurl one, so it spelled "deef'd." It's funny because they always eff up tifos. Usually because they have trouble unfurling a letter.

Yeah this game is going to be lacking all of the big names. Any player whose country makes it past the group stage probably won't be there.

Yeah this game is going to be lacking all of the big names. Any player whose country makes it past the group stage probably won't be there.

Anyone who plays in the WC at all will not be playing in KC. It will be young guys and reserves.

The star indicates an MLS cup. So the whole we are seeing stars thing is like a celebration on adding the second star to the jersey and crest.
