Seems like a small step towards MLS. At the very least, they could be a new USL Pro affiliate of SKC. OKC + STL. Would be cool.

I don't want them to be an affiliate, I want them to get to the MLS so we can beat them and I can yell "eff SAINT LOUIS!"

This is the next best thing though. They're probably not getting MLS.

A lot of buzz on the twitters that Chivas USA will be rebranded as LASC. No idea if there is new ownership stepping up(most important imo) or their own stadium separate from Galaxy(second most important), but this is a good step, but imho I don't think this franchise will ever have much hold in the LA metro, personally.
