Tried to come up with something super different that would still with. Think we are a CB signing short of being able to run this though.

Ummmm, I don't know. Why would SKC sign him only to then turn around and temporarily loan him out? It's not there is any duplicity with his position, we got rid of his backup who was a DP. If Dom thinks this is going to happen it makes more since that he is wishing and hoping that it happens because it makes no sense for SKC. What I don't understand is if Dom still wants to go so bad why did he come back? I'm sure he could have hooked up with a side like Millwall, Reading, MK Dons or some other substandard Championship or League 1 team.

This would not be any different than LD going over for mini loan deals from January to MLS season, or the year Henry did it. I am all for Dom playing in England from Jan-March every year.

That's fine if that's what we're talking about but that isn't what this is. January is over and our first regular season match is only 39 days away. If he were going on an off-season loan it would have been announced 2 months ago and not during training camp.
