I love moving. As long as someone else pays for it and someone else actually does the work. Picking out a new neighborhood and a new house and a bunch of other new stuff is awesome. Having the kinds of resources CNS has.... well, let's just say that I am getting a boner just thinking about the prospect of moving with that kind of money.

Good golly, a list of "Why go to Texas?" has to include Saban supporting his daughter's surgery bills.

Worth it! I mean, night and day. It probably wouldn't have hurt whitney to look into it either.

the google machine claims otherwise...  plus, look at the two top, front-middle teeth.  Looks like it is after a bunch of work.

Didn't St. Nick get a facelift not long ago?  Perhaps they got a volume/family discount?

Who knows, could be the reason Nick looks so vibrant and dashing compared to broken down, butter-toothed Mack even though they are the same age.

Lulz, CNS(Did I do it right?) doesn't give two shits about auburn.

Quote
The silver lining to all of this is that NO ONE...I mean NO ONE....is talking about the barn in the MNC game.  They are beside themselves.  tongue

Some are seriously believing CNS is purposefully doing this to keep the spotlight off of them.

You gotta love it.

Yeah, if Saban leaves Bama of all places, whoever gets him can't feel too comfortable about the long haul. Four years, yeah, but after that who knows. However, I agree with another poster on here that I'm getting tired of the whole thing. If he leaves fine---maybe we will do better in getting a coach who doesn't choke against Auburn...if he stays fine..maybe a couple more national championships mixed in with future Auburn losses. Whatever, I can't wait for next year.

Getting worried!

Quote
I don't know how to say this without sounding critical but the lack of insider information and objective outlook of the situation on this board is stunning. Everyone talks about how satisfied Saban is and what he has at Alabama but no one ever debates the reason many Texas fans and even some Bama fans are saying he might leave. I assume people here have heard about the debt problems many are saying the Sabans have incurred from a failed Perkins Rowe development in Baton Rouge and an apartment project in Houston as well. The debts are at keast $26 million if not several million more. You guys do realize the rumor is that UT boosters have agreed to pay these debts off if he signs on with Texas don't you? This rumor has been all over the internet and I've even seen Secretary of State records of it and yet Bama fans on all our boards seem completely oblivious to it. I was hoping to get some info here earlier today and asked a question about this and was ignored. I'll ask again, does anyone know anything about Saban's supposed debt and if our boosters are able to match Texas offer in this area.

Holy crap! If Texas would just let Mack Brown recruit black players they could be back in no time!!

Quote
Texas got whipped in the BCS championship game back in

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2009.  Prior to that, they were undefeated.  So, they finished 2009 at 13-1.  Since that year, Texas has gone 5-7, 8-5, 9-4 and then 8-4 this year.  That is 30-20 (60%).

Here is a little history lesson and one in which I am thankful the Bama fanbase and decision makers had a little more patience than the longhorn fans appear to have.  The year was 1967 and Alabama should have been the 3 time defending national champions.  Alabama "struggled" to an 8-2-1 record and an 8th place finish in the final AP poll.  The next three years would produce records of 8-3, 6-5 and 6-5-1.  That is an overall four year mark of 28-15-2 or 62% win percentage.  You can make some serious parallels to the current longhorn program and the Tide back in 1970.  Alabama could have claimed that the game had passed Coach Bryant by.  After 13 seasons as head coach at Alabama, it was time for the Bear to move on and let some younger coach take over.  The brain trust at Alabama decided the Bear could turn it around and did not run off the coach.  What happened in just the next four years?  Well, here is your answer:

1971:  11-1 SEC Champion
1972:  10-2 SEC Champion
1973:  11-1 National Champ
1974:  11-1 SEC Champion

Total record of 43-5 or 90% win percentage.
