Favorite episode is any that has flashbacks involving Kate, Sawyer or Ben.

My question is why is desmond trying to get the "band" back together in the alternate life?  And they all have some knowledge of the island and there experiences on it.  I know smokey is going to try and use Desmond to go into the light cave because he is resistant ot electro magnetic stuff and Des can destroy the island from there.  I hope they can tie this all up in a neat bow and not mind shazbot! me on Sunday.

Had a good chuckle when Smokey/Locke slit Zoey's throat. not sure why.

I don't think des is meant to destroy the Island.

I always thought it had to do with the original fail safe from the hatch. Like the island has one big fail safe for Flocke.

But smokey (locke) is going to try and use him to do so, and I think that is when alternate lost people will return to the island and we have a spin off called found!

Great episode.  Sad about Richard.  Could have done more with his character IMO.

yeah, that's the only issue I had with the epi.  I love me some evil, sinister Ben;  I do think he's trying to play/con Smokey somehow.  Des is always fantastic.  He's been the failsafe for the show, imo.

I'm not sure if Ben was trying to con smokey at first, but he might start now that smokey told Ben he wants to destroy the island.  and where did Miles go?

yeah.  weird he told him that.  considering he told him 15 minutes earlier that he could have the island to himself or restore his power over the island

I think Locke promised this to Ben before he got to talk to Widmore.  I'm sure Locke will tell him that Ben can come with (instead of getting the island) if he kills the canidates (but once Locke finds out that everyone except Jack isn't a canidate, then I wonder how Locke will treat Ben - either way I think Locke goes back on his word or will try to anway).

well now we know that it's really the smoke monster and not his brother that he had that conversation with.
But Jacob laid his body to rest. So how would he have that conversation with him as himself.  :ohno: :runaway: :dunno:

Smokey took his bros body just like he took locke's body.  He doesn't actually take the body he just looks like them.  Does this answer your question?  Not sure what you're asking.
I guess my question was answered smokey is his brother. Just wasn't sure if he was or not.

Also slow but good episode the build up has been pretty ridiculous should lead to a great finale.(would be hilarious if they did nothing but another kate episode)
also surprised to see ana lucia in that episode. wonder if we will have many more drop ins for the finale.

I'll hold off from talking about the actual show until it's over, but I want to say I'm getting a kick out of the Target commercials.

Reminds me of when I finished Mario Brothers 2, except instead of a dream Mario is dead and realizes that all faiths bring his friends to the point where they can move on.  Pretty Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) ending.

Target commercials were hilarious.

Actual ending was good.  Was honestly hoping for a better Locke vs Jack fight scene.  Explanation for alternate reality was awesome.

The writers made a pretty big mistake, they assumed I cared more about the characters than what the island was/is.  I was much more interested in the island.

I'm completely lost on the ending.  Okay, they're all dead, and the alt timeline was about them finding each other so they could move on.  got that.

So when did they die?  In the plain crash?  after the plane crash?  If it was either, why is Penny at the church with everyone at the end?  she wasn't on the plane, and has never been on the island?

what was the point of them leaving the island in the ajiri plane if they were all dead to begin with?

They all died at some random time after all of the events happened. Everything that happened, actually happened. Penny was there because she means so much to Desmond, so Desmond couldn't have a "purgatory" without her but he also need to be with those people. The people that were on the Aijiri plane flew home, and lived an actual normal life. Hurley and Ben watched over the Island for maybe thousands of years before dying.  Time doesn't matter in the purgatory/sideways timeline.

I thought that might be a possibility.  got it now. so when they die in real time/life/island they "transport" back to the original plane ride/"knocking on heavens door" and don't crash.  makes more sense now.

i liked most of it.  the alt timeline (ghost town) ending was anticlimactic.  i guess all the drama was to be on the island.  the flashbacks to the island life kinda got old.  shannon and her brother didn't belong in the church at the end.  thought they were both douches and should have gone to island hell with Michael.

the glowy thing in the cave was really cool.  do you think dez would have died had he put the plug back in the light?  not sure why Jack didn't let him do it.  would have been cooler if jack turned into smoke monster part deux. but instead of being a bad smokey, Jack would be a good smokie.  maybe only bad people turn into smokey???

i'm with Phreak on the Locke/Jack fight.  needed to be more epic.  something like a fight all the way across the island.  Jack should have gone to take the plug out of the island, turned into smoke monster part deux and had a fight which tore the island apart.

the alt endings on Kimmel were funny (esp the survivor one) and Claire's legs were gorgeous (how about Kate's legs in the little black dress)?

dvd/blu ray promises more answers and comes out in August.  will have to Netflix it.

bye bye lost.  will miss you.

Loved it.  Wraps up the show as a story about love and redemption/sacrifice.
