What's the latest you can sleep in anymore?
« on: November 19, 2013, 02:50:51 PM »
I don't think I've broken 8:30 on a weekend in a long time. I've tried, but I can't do it. This is an age thing, right? Our bodies are immunebiological clock is use to getting up early for work. what say you?

If I go to bed by 2-230 on a weekend, I'm up by 9am. If I'm party rocking till 4 or 5am then I can sleep all day.

i'm still in the age of my life where my immune system hasn't gotten over the "getting up for work" hump quite yet.

nervous for when it happens though!

Usually up by 8am on the weekends even after a binge....but not always

I binged hard a couple Fridays ago and ended up sleeping through the first half of the TX Tech game.

Do you go to bed the same time on the weekends as you do during the week? I have a very hard time getting out of bed if I don't get at least 7 hours of sleep. Anything more than 7, though, and I can get up whenever I feel like it. I can go more than 12 hours if I went on a bender and don't want to be hung over.

Anything past 9 is a blessing. I actually have an easier time sleeping in on the weekends if I don't binge the night before...which almost never happens.

8:00 - toddlers need breakfast regardless of how much I drink the night before.  And I know I'm lucky; most kids don't sleep that late. Don't think I could sleep much beyond that anyway.  I've upped my napping on the weekend in response; as a matter a fact I took a hour nap on Sunday afternoon.

I wake up around 5:30 am every day and force myself to sleep until 6:30... sometimes on the weekends I can make it to 7 but I get really bored in bed and want to go do stuff.  Nothing better than a great coffee and bbsing at 7am on a fall Saturday.    :users:

Really depends on the length of leak I take when I initially wake up in the morning.. if its too long my chances of actually falling back to sleep go way down

like, i wake up every hour or two every night, but i go back to sleep within a minute.  so i guess it's not technically "straight".
