Massive EMAW, fluent in Spanish, south Florida connections???

Don't know if he's a student of the game, just a thought.

This is true.

HBBIQ types:  Does he have potential to make Massey money overseas?  Seems like maybe he could.  :dunno:

I think he could get a look in the league - the deeper three point line and open spacing fits his game better than college.  But, I probably don't know what I'm talking about.  :dunno:

Didn't he get drafted #1 overall in the Puerto Rican bball draft recently?

Regardless, he's going to go get paid somewhere not in Manhattan.  Maybe they can convince him to come back when Pullen's jersey gets retired.

Is he from Moundridge?  Pretty sure that is on the checklist...You need like 5/10 iirc.

Yeah, can you imagine the look on Lon Floyd's face if it was announced we would retire Denis' jersey?

Get the shazbot! outa my dream. :chainsaw:

No doubt he can play overseas but if he has any knowledge of the game kinda figured he'd bring that and intensity to the staff.

IMO he should pursue his playing career wherever it leads him and when he's done with that he should come back and coach.  By then his accent should be toned down a bit and his BBIQ will have grown tremendously.  At first i was tentative about Denis, but I really have grown to love the way he plays the game and really tries to leave it all on the floor.  I don't know if I have seen a player with his kind of passion for the game...  from a Wildcat perspective.  I know I'll get bashed for this but I think that heart that Denis displays was missing in some of the players who have recently departed.  Don't think the GA thing is even a possibility though... :ksu:

Denis will play in the NBA.  Won't be a star, but will give some team an excellent backup point guard who can penetrate.  Would fit in great somewhere like Phoenix or Golden State.  In the league, Denis translates to a poor man's Tony Parker.  I really believe he'll land on a roster somewhere.

He would also be very valuable from a marketing stand point in cities with large Spanish speaking populations (Miami, Texas teams, Clippers, etc), which is important with the financial state of the League

Don't like his handles.  Would get eaten alive in the association.  Europe it is!

(I feel kinda dirty ... like JMart.  Still love you, Denis.)

Glad I'm not the only one worried about where the staff's intensity is going to be coming from this next year.

I do think he's got a shot at a cup of coffee in the league.  His speed with the ball is next level, and one of those things you can't coach.  Somebody will think they can improve his ball handling and defense and take him on.  If not, he's a high level player in Europe.
