It's the thing you turn a guy in for, though.  I mean, ask subway.

Yeah, but a big part of why his worker bro was locked up was kid porn.

i'll admit i don't know the law.  if kstate would have had a legal responsibility to report inappropriate porn, then i think i'm fairly comfortable saying that the rumors are likely false.  i don't see anyone at kstate falling on their sword for a bball staffer, or for the university's repuation.

i guess it could have been reported and if evidence wasn't sufficient to charge, it just never surfaced in the media.

Also and just so it's very clear, I am in no way saying that this is what happened. Just like a million other scenarios are possible, I'm simply saying that this one is as well.

I'm not sure how I feel about this, but I'm sure we'll be following Foster's season out of curiosity and "what if's". My inclination is to not wish him well (I know that's petty), but he did some damage to our program, and I'm also an extreme KSU loyalist. Granted, we probably wouldn't have some of our current players had Foster stayed, but his behavior and the affect he had on our last two seasons still stings. What do all of you think. Is this all water under the bridge?

Quote
I hope Marcus is able to stay straight. Coach McDermott is not someone to get crosswise with. He is one large hombre with a short fuse for stupidity.

Quote
I hope the young man matures enough to become a successful and proper citizen on and off the court. I won't, however, be in his cheering section.
While here, he said he really wanted to go to KU, but they didn't come calling. Because of this, he said he really wanted to beat them. I thought it was poor taste for him to admit he wanted to be elsewhere. That might be the case for many recruits, but most refrain from stating it to the press. Weber went after him when many others passed and gave him a shot in a power conference. It paid off big time for Marcus as he gained national attention and an invite to Lebron Jame's camp. After the privilege afforded him by K-State, he decided to loaf and party his second year.
This action, by a star, set our program back, but let me emphasize the real damage done here. Thomas and Nino had to suffer through a senior year without partaking in a post season tournament. These hard working players deserved better than that. Nino was playing on knees that were damaged over his four year stint. Thomas slimmed down and worked his butt off to become a force underneath. For their hard work, they had to watch an underclassmen undermine their effort.

As stated, I hope Marcus learns from his mistakes and finds success. I just won't be standing in his cheering section.

Quote
I won't pay any attention to what Foster does, don't have the time or energy to care. I did find it funny earlier this fall when Foster tweeted how cool it was that he had skipped class only to find out later that the class had been canceled, which drew a return from McDermott about why he skipped in the first place. Didn't sound like he had figured it out at that point.

Quote
I would bet a large amount that Foster will be a cancer no matter where he goes. I think the only chance for Foster would be if something happens that would make him hit rock bottom. I don't think he's there yet. I do hope that he figures things out...but I wouldn't bet that it ever happens. A few of us saw him scrimmaging with the team after he had been dismissed...and I for one wasn't impressed. I wouldn't have let him in the gym.

- The game winner against OU
- His last game for KSU in The Sprint Center

I cannot remember a student athlete that went from that level of play to horrible

I've always disliked creighton because their fans are all football only HUSKGUYs. but now I will like them a lot.

I really hope some scenario plays out where we end up hosting Creighton in the NIT.

That sounds like an awful scenario for both parties involved, whether you're #TeamFoster or #Teamcats. No thanks!

The NIT is an awful scenario for all teams that participate, wacky. It is still probably a better outcome than our Cats will end up getting, though.

Marcus playing post-season basketball in Bramlage would be a lot of fun, though.

If it weren't for Foster, Underwood and Frank, I'd have no reason to follow CBB this year. Well that and hoping everything bad for the Cats so Oscar gets the boot.

That's extremely dumb. Who roots against their alumni? You can root for the players and ignore oscar in the process. I'm sure you're supper jazzed for a Martin NIT run tho! :excited:

Screw that. There's just too much about Oscar that annoys the crap out of me with losing being but one. The only relief is severing him ASAP from Manhattan, Kansas. Coincidentally, that's also the best thing for the K-State BB program.
