How adversely will this effect his career? With the access to the best doctors and medicine, I would think he would make a quick recovery and be at full strength by the spring if not early summer.

with jordy's supreme level of work ethic, i wouldn't bet against seeing him by week 4 of this season. in game and in pro bowl form.
as has been discussed on this board ad nauseum, the midwestern work ethic can't be overestimated.
