I wouldn't go but your tastes are much different than mine.

They are more or less ripping off early to mid 90's Bathory and just putting it in a slick, over-produced format.  I guess what I'm saying is that they are ok but not on my must see list.

I didn't even listen to all of it. It's eight minutes of terrible cellphone footage, but it seems to be pretty bad. I can't stand anything they've done post Black album.

I watched Metallica's Through the Never today. The concert footage is pretty cool. They've added some really awesome effects since I saw them close to a decade ago. The separate movie portion doesn't make any sense, but there are some cool scenes I guess. It would probably be awesome to watch with PED's.

Hey bud, maybe you shouldn't post in this thread until you get your list done, okay?

The list has been done for a while, I just haven't felt like writing a blog post to go with it. Anyway, I'll post the list just for you.

Here is my list of my ten favorite metal albums. It is important to note, that this is only a list of my ten favorite metal albums, not a list of the ten "greatest metal albums of all time". There are a lot of bands that I listen to on a regular basis that didn't make it on the list, simply because they don't put out complete/ entire albums that I enjoy (Iron Maiden, Motorhead, High on Fire, Slayer, Sepultura and Weedeater, to name a few).

10.) Black Sabbath’s Paranoid

9.) Amon Amarth’s With Oden on Our Side

8.) Lamb of God’s Ashes of the Wake

7.) Electric Wizard’s Dopethrone

6.) Mastodon’s Leviathan

5.) Sleep’s Jerusalem/Dopesmoker

4.) Pantera’s  Cowboys from Hell

3.) Metallica’s Master of Puppets

2.) Sleep’s Holy Mountain

1.) Metallica’s Ride the Lightning
