So, JW had to short sale that?  Hard to believe with the carpet and light up glass block thingy.  Also, I thought he was a downtown KC guy?

Who's saying he short sold it? He's in California now (or at least the last time I heard from him). One drafting table, but it's upstairs in my office. The hot tub is very problematic when indoors. Currently, it's outside under my deck, but is for sale if anyone is interested in owning a piece of history? The only thing it wouldn't include is a stand because it didn't need one because the basement floor supported the upper rim of the tub.

Thought you said so earlier in thread.   :dunno:

Nope, not a short. I did get a great deal on it as it needed/needs quite a bit of modernizing and brought back up from the 90's into 2013.

of course you did

i really want to know who owned that gd house. tell us.

Jason Whitlock was the previous owner and before him was Albert Lewis.
Dammit, I was going to guess Jason Whitlock or Bill Maas but you made the reveal too soon.  The leopard print carpet was the giveaway for me.

That's pretty funny actually...did you know Whitlock well?

I knew Scott Forest (not his real last name) pretty well

It's going to be added space to my woodshop when its all said and done. I'd rather have more woodshop space than a hot tub that i'd only use a time or two per year...

your man cave is going to have a woodshop?

-hey friends, wanna come watch the big game in my man cave?

-uh.. do i have to sit on the table saw again, or do you actually have some chairs now?

-yeah, i hated sitting on the shaper.  you know what would be cool, watching the big game from a hot tub!

There is no house behind mine. I have a neighbor to the side but nothing out back at all.

I actually think I know that house.  It backs up to 119th street right?  I grew up in Nottingham Forest, (we no longer have a house there)  We used to trick or treat at Albert Lewis' house.  It was great, he would give out full size candy bars.  He also spent several thousand dollars each Christmas on lights and decorations.

I now own that house. Albert sold it to Jason and then he sold it to me. It does back up to 119th and i've heard from every single one of my neighbors that Jason used to give out ridiculous amounts and sizes of candy bars for Halloween. Like four or five hundred dollars worth of candy every year...

The kids will probably egg the crap out of it if you don't keep up.

I hadn't thought of that, but I think you're right.  Better stock up on candy shellshock.
