Those last two picks were terrible. I mean really, really bad throws.

Yeah. He's going to get better, though. I never want to see Waters on the field again.

sams is exactly what I thought he was. If anything he made better throws overall than I thought he could. Yeah, his INT's were wooftastic, but he can break a run at any moment and that's just too valuable to keep off the field, especially when Waters is shitting his pants and turning it over at an even higher rate.

he's 100percent better than jake waters (who is already maxed out on his skill), and still has a lot of room for improvement.  let that marinate for a while.

Yeah, he's not great right now, but his upside his huge. I saw a lot of promise, plus he makes the running game better just by being in. Next year could potentially be a pretty good year.

I am sure he will get better but how much better is the question. He puts way too much lift on the deep ball to ever effectively throw I more than 20 yards at the moment and he has been a collegiate qb for three seasons

Are you rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!)? I said Sams sucks, which he does right now. I also said Waters sucks, which he does. Now I'm saying Sams has potential after finally seeing him play a complete game. Follow the yellow brick road and get a brain, dumbass.

this is the biggest reason waters should never play again.  you cant coach the scared out of a player.

Why don't we run more option with sams? Did we run any today? Seems like he and Hubert would be pretty effective.

I still hold out hoping this year is more like Ell's soph season.  Sams is high risk/high reward.  His short throws are as good as Waters.  His deep balls are pretty awful.  This season is lost, play the potential.

If he'd started from Day 1 we would have won. Period.
This times a billion. He should have had the non cons to cut his teeth. he is by far the best option for us to win now and into the future.

Sams doesn't suck, he simply struggles at a phase of the game that IMO isn't necessary for him to be successful, overall.

He can win without throwing any deep bombs.

This is THE hope for K-State fans right now.

Also, the no name returner is Burns and easily explained. He and Hubert both wear 33, so he had to switch numbers like little Weber and Zimmerman do when they are on the field together. And right now Burns us a really bad returner.

I would like to see Sams return kicks in that situation, honestly. He's probably the best open field runner we have behind Lockett and Thompson.

No, seven's right, you're backtracking and even worse, you're a walking set of contradictions.  I especially loved this one.

I enjoyed this game.

Doesn't really jive well with your sig line at the bottom of all your posts.   "It's only a game if you win. If you lose it's a rough ridin' waste of time."

He does suck right now. You can't argue with 3 turnovers.  He will get better though and hopefully have a breakout season next year. I don't really care about this season anymore.

Sams was really put into a situation that doesn't play to his strengths at the end of the game and failed miserably twice. It sucked watching it happen, but I think he will benefit from it in the long run. His first pick was also pretty bad, but I think he at least made the right decision in throwing that ball. If he puts a few more inches under it, it's a big gain.
