Condaleeza rice is great. A lady who will be as good of a selection committee member as she is a concert pianist. Knocked it out of the park with this hire.

what an asshat, espn should have fined him. if she didnt know crap about football i could see the backlash but its pretty well documented that she is a huge (and intelligent) football fan. basically came out and said "im a sexist racist pos" doesnt surprise me coming from georgia

Actually, she' not a Stanford grad. Just looked it up. University of Denver, graduate school Notre Dame and Denver. She has been a Professor at Stanford for quite a while, though.

I am not surprised by the reaction, not surprised, but still a little taken aback.

I've heard in several interviews talking about football and her knowledge extends beyond a stereotypical football mom.

They'll be lots of "football guys" on the committee, you need people like her on it IMO.
