If Weis gets a win somewhere and finds a way to call it a slight improvement, he will sell some other team on his shtick and leave town.

This play calling from the first half epitomizes the genius of Charlie Weis:

KU has a nice little drive going. It's 1st and t-en from the Rice 25... first play Weis calls is a designed lateral pass to a walk-on punt returner, which gets overthrown and fumbled out of bounds for a loss of tw-elve yards. The offense ends up sputtering back to the original line of scrimmage, only to miss a 47-yard field goal. Instead of running the ball on 1st down and getting closer to the red zone, Weis gambles for no reason and ends up killing the drive.

Charlie has no value aside from dealing with the media and recruiting. The playbook should be as far away from him as possible.

If kus goal is to look as stupid as possible in front of the media and recruit really bad players, this is definitely true

Everyone wears blinders for their own team. But it should have been very telling that Zulu wasn't really heavily considered for our gig when Currie was hired, especially with all of his ties here.

Not sure this is true, but I do appreciate most of your guys' opinion. I hope Weis proves me wrong, but at this point, I'll just be happy if KU can beat La Tech.

The offense is demonstabely worse under charlie, the defense has improved from redefining historically bad to just historically bad.

chuck is lucky that he doesn't have to play mu. ku expects to lose to ksu, but losing to mu would really tick them off.

True story: between the two qb's ksu was looking to get weiss was glad we got waters instead of nick marshall (who is at auburn now and just lead auburn on a game winning drive against mississippi state. Auburn is 3-0 now).
