What I am enjoying is the group of people who are believing every word of that story while believing that the same thing doesn't happen inside their favorite college sports program.

I hope to God we do all of this stuff
If we are, we're not doing it right.  :frown:
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

Let's see these recruiting hostesses :fatty:

the one i have seen does not look good

Brad posted earlier in regards to their attractiveness.  This just confirms it for me.

can't speak for brad but i tend to drink a lot so I may be off on my perception here

Surely that is not a hostess, but someone's mom, right?

Orange Pride

An organization that donates their time and efforts to assist with Recruiting for Oklahoma State and the Football Program.

It will be a very exciting year! We have a wonderful staff and look forward to another great recruiting season next year! Being a part of Orange Pride is a huge responsibility. You will be required to attend and work each home football game for the 2013 Football season, raise $300.00 in sponsorship money, attend weekly meetings, and work recruiting official visits, Junior Days, Coaches Clinic, etc.

I'm surprised by how many former players SI got to talk.

OSU would be a great "set an example" program for the NCAA as well.

I think even OSU is too big. Nothing will come of this (major).
you guys do realize that they fairly recently placed sanctions on USC, Ohio St and Penn St, right?

this whole "too big for the NCAA" is stupid. maybe in basketball, but they've proven they'll issue sanctions to anyone in football. the main issue is there's absolutely no rhyme or reason as to who they punish and how hard.

Fair points on USC and Ohio State. Penn State is kind of an entirely different category though.

Ohio State is what, #2 after coming off probation? With Urban Meyer as their coach? Really stuck it to 'em.

I have heard that players have gotten paid for Jobs that didn't have, but all the jobs were based out of texas because it was a super elite way of cheating.  :dunno:

Also, OSU was able to make it so that those players could play in their bowl game if they promised to not all go pro and serve a 4 game suspension at the beginning of the following season.  After promising, their QB went pro and there have since been no additional repercussions for that that I am aware of.

Guys, I'm having a change of heart. If the NCAA takes away 2011's wins, EMAW is back to back Big 12 champs

Holy crap that sounds better than I could dream of.  Any way to get high school players in Texas jobs down there for basically the last 3 years of high school that they never have to go to?   :dunno:

what's the last "inconsequential" school they brought the hammer down on?

SMU is the only school I've known them to issue meaningful sanctions to. By meaningful I mean actually hurt the program for more than a year or two.

We're not cheating. If we're cheating and this is the best we can recruit... :bang:
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

exactly. there's no method to the laughable sanctions they hand out, so claiming that they make examples of small schools and let "important" schools skate is baseless.

From the writer (the semi-Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) one, not the fully Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) one), was asked what is the smoking gun.  His answer:  OSU's method of counseling athletes with drug problems.  This can't really be happening.  I mean, my god.
