It depends how cordial they are to the NCAA. The only schools that get punished are the ones that say "eff you" to the NCAA. Kiss a few asses, lose 2 scholarships (see: Oregon vs. USC)

I used to be all envious of programs that pay players and wished we would do the same. But since we evidently cannot or will not do that, I say eff the schools that do. This will be fun to watch.

Honestly, this feels more like SI is using this story to convince the NCAA that paying players is the way to go rather than SI trying to destroy OSU. The last paragraph is kinda sad.
