mocat has it right, actually watching is usually not even necessary, just the title and the screenshot of the video would be great.

So, like on facebook whenever you link a video or article, you automatically get an image to go with it.  Sounds like a project for our new IT guy.

we'd have to wait until whoever takes over finishes law school because it's pretty important to keep the ratio of mods who are attorneys to mods who aren't attorneys above 1/1. but, by then, they will also be old timers. so you see the predicament we find ourselves in.

get off SMF and go to VB or Xenforo.  SMF is outdated, buggy, crashes all the time, etc.   they aren't even actively developing it anymore.  VB and Xen both have large plugin libraries that allow you to easily add new features.  when we switched over from SMF to Xen, our downtime disappeared and load times were cut in half.
