Where do you typically do your partying?  Because if it's off-campus with other law dorks, then I don't think it was you.  Regularly getting drunk with the same mostly unattractive folks and not getting laid is not top party school material. 

While we're on the subject, I did notice recently that the law school's ranking has tanked.  Any thoughts on that, because I've got a couple.

re. law school rankings: my thoughts - meh.  i have no intention of transferring so i'm just going to take care of my business.  i was fully aware of the scandal anyways before i came to U of I, so I can't really complain.  but my friends (who were also aware of the scandal prior to coming) LOVE to bitch about it.  it's like, hey, you came here, idiot.  i know full well that the fallout of the scandal contributed to my pretty healthy scholarship, so i guess you gotta take the good with the bad.

don't get me wrong, the scandal is complete bullshit, but as far as the rankings go, i don't care too much.

olathe south- they love a good party. great party school.
olathe north- these guys (and gals) wouldn't know a party if it showed up to their house and did kegs stands in the front yard.
shawnee mission east- average partiers in every sense of the world.

anyway that's just a start. feel free to add your own two cents about these very distinctive and very different johnson county highschool party scenes.

I hadn't paid it any mind for years, then I looked the other day and almost crap.

i wasn't the best or brightest in grad school and didn't really care that much about grades. like my goal was to get in, learn what i needed to know and then get out.

one day in class though, the head of our dept was teaching and was like "well, the new us news and world report is out and we moved from 8th to 5th". i said "you're welcome" and did like a pretend kick my feet up on the desk move. everyone (including him) chuckled for a bit and then we got back to learning.
