Got done moving up to a 2nd floor apartment yesterday. Getting stuff out of the attic to load was the absolute worst (90 and humid outside, 110 and stifling in the attic) and I got drenched yet people kept trying to hug me and stuff when they showed up/were leaving and i'm like seriously what are you doing stahp. Unloading went easier than expected except for the time I fell on my ass hauling a couch up the stairs (thatsourmack.jpg). Forgot to bring pillows for the bed though so I had to improvise with some emaw hoodies. wasn't the worst thing in the world.

Dealing with getting my rough ridin' Time Warner router working, on the other hand...

The easiest thing about my move was the uverse install.

Can you not get ATT in your complex?

I've realized having a spare room is now my excuse for "eh, it can just stay in the boxes."
Sometimes I think of the Book of Job and how God likes to really eff with people.

Wow, fun thread to re-read, makes me miss emo.

Moving Saturday and there's boxes everywhere. Paying someone to load a uhaul, driving it myself and then paying someone else to unload. First time in the paying people game, much cheaper than I expected.

Even with packers and movers, kinda sucks.  Unpacking will be even worse.

Yes, I am a pretty cheap person but I will always pay to have my stuff packed if I have to do it again.

Wow, I just bought some boxes yesterday! I'd say a good third of my crap is still packed from the last post, probably should just get rid of it

Where does one buy boxes?
Home depot or somewhere similar but you can also look on craigslist to buy them from someone who just moved.

Ahhh ok. I haven't accrued enough stuff the warrant the need to buy boxes. I hope I never do.

Where did you get that overnight bag?
