I can't fit all of my worldly possessions in five boxes, so I'm giving up.

moving is like the only time i will legitimately consider getting a Kindle

also: probably going to get lots of corny jokes from my friends about my boxes full of books because they're packed in various boxes from the liquor store (great way to score small/medium size boxes for free)

"hur hur did you read the letter that johnnie walker read :D"

"dude how do you even know that reference you're like 25"

"GTA san andreas"

" :dubious: "

instead of boxes and boxes of books, i have boxes and boxes of cd's... and i just can't get rid of them for some reason.  pretty much any other junk i have has been culled away during moves tho.

I wonder if Goodwill is going to accept my Math Blaster Ages 7-9 CD for Windows 95.

I'll have at least a trash bag's worth clothing headed there before this move is done.

Moving Saturday.  The guy at the moving company wanted to know everything we wanted them to take.  I said, "Uh, all of it?"

Eh, it may show up in the area where they sell decorative coasters.

Thoughts from moving:

-professional movers are better athletes than Lebrons James and macho man randy savage combined

-memory foam mattresses are so stupid. Who the eff thought these were a good idea?

-it seems hot for May. Does it seem hot to you? It seems hot to me.

-if someone went into business selling houses for you including all the stuff in them and building you a new house with all the things and stuff already in it it would make a billion dollars in like one single second.

Why are people always acting like boxes are a controlled substance or something? "Oh you're moving?  Hey we've got some boxes if you want them."  "eff, I need to get some boxes.  Hey do you guys have any left over from your move?"

Just go buy some from Uhaul or Home Depot or something.  They're $20 for a ton of them.  Then just throw them away/recycle.

Why not just pay movers to do everything

Works for some I'm sure.  We paid movers to do the big stuff.  Some stuff though I wouldn't feel comfortable with other people touching it.

I know a few movers.  I am with emo.

I've only had a professional move once so far and it confirmed that they aren't very good with the small stuff.  All my furniture, tables, beds, etc were just fine.  They broke lots of small stuff and some of the packing was just LOL bad.

I had movers move everything that would either be awkward to lift or take more than one person to lift.  They moved it across town in about 30min and had it unloaded and set in another 30min all for $500 or so.  My entire move took me about 4 hrs rather than a really full day or a day and a half.  Extremely worth it.

Like, what kind of stuff do you have? Remember we already know you have done dirtbag things to girls so our opinion of you probably won't get much lower.
