If you're into music there's way more to do in Nashville than KC. Everything else seems about equal.
My company has a six week limit to working internationally. I think you could just not tell anyone if you have a permanent US address though.
Bigger nerds than me would need to confirm this, but I think you'd need to get a good reliable US based VPN to make it seem like you were in the US.
I would assume in todays times a companies security department would lose their collective minds if they found an unauthorized vpn client installed on a company owned laptop (if you could even get admin privileges on the laptop).
You’d be better off just being up front about it.
There is the option to install a vpn client on your router, but that’s not the simplest task.
*You may be able to use VPN (like nordVPN) on your phone, enable wifi hotspot and connect your computer that way. Ive not tested to confirm, but it should work that way.
All in all your more likely to get busted by your video background or saying something that gives your location away to your boss, than you ever would by an internal network dept.
